TODAY’S DEVOTION. HIGH PRAISES CONVERT ATTACKS TO ATTRACTION!

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE. "Don't you see, you planned evil against me but God used those same plans for my good, as you see all around you right now-life for many people." (Genesis 50:20 MSG)

When you assume that you are under 'attack' when you go through challenges you cannot praise God effectively. Your best testimonies arise from some difficult and harsh situations or experiences. In order to praise God sincerely you need an understanding that all attacks from the devil are raw materials for your attraction. God's agenda is to convert every negative plan of the enemy to praise points. Your greatest battles in life are seeds for your best victories! Weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning.

The scripture above proceeded from the lips of Joseph a man under severe attack and household wickedness, but who had an attitude of praise. Joseph's story began with a dream where he was the best among his brothers and they hated him for that. The attack of the adversary is against your dream! He was captured, tortured and sold into slavery but he had a thankful heart even in the face of attack. In Potiphar house
"His master recognized that God was with him, saw that God was working for good in everything he did." (Genesis 39:3 MSG)

If God was with Him it means he was praising God in slavery because God inhabits the praises of Israel.(Psalm 22:3) He was attacked again and he found himself in prison, but he kept his cool and in the spirit of praise became the captain and a source of encouragement to fellow inmates. From there he got into the Egyptian palace and became Pharaoh's second in command. With his new position he brought his family to Egypt and when his brothers saw him they were dumbfounded! After a while they became uneasy and apologised profusely to Joseph and were remorseful.

The opening scripture was Joseph's words to them and same is true for every man (woman) of praise. Whatever evil anyone has planned against you, God is turning it around for your good. Praise is your ability to look beyond what the enemy is doing into what God will make out of it in due course. Praise Him at all times!

TODAY'S RESPONSE
Praise Him for His ability to turn evil to good, attack to attraction and pain to gain. Praise the Lord!

SUNDAY, 17TH  SEPTEMBER 2017. TODAY'S DEVOTION.RAIN OF IDEAS FOR PROSPERITY PART 2. TODAY'S SCRIPTURE. "Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month. And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:" (Joel 2:23, 28 KJV). The Bible records that Abraham became very rich in cattle, silver and gold. But how did he become outstanding and outshine other bussinessmen? Through the rain of divine ideas by the Holy Ghost which came in response to his giving. Abraham dug wells for his cattle instead of them going about. By divine inspiration he knew what to do to get fatter and fresher cattle and sheep. Isaac also got the secret of irrigation by the re...

POTTER'S TOUCH DEVOTIONAL FRIDAY 23RD MARCH,2018. TODAY’S DEVOTION: GOD’S MERCY AT WORK IN YOU.

POTTER'S TOUCH DEVOTIONAL FRIDAY 23RD MARCH,2018. TODAY’S DEVOTION: GOD’S MERCY AT WORK IN YOU. TODAY’S SCRIPTURE. “For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.”  (Philippians 2:13 NLT) No matter what you’re going to face in this life, you’re not going to face it alone. God’s mercy is with you, he is in you, and he is for you. “God’s Mercy is working in you.” The word “working” in Greek is the word energos, from which we get the word “energy.” God’s mercy is the energy driver in your life. You’re not just going on willpower. You’re not just going on your own power. Mercy of God says he will give you the power you need, no matter what you’re facing.  Not only is he in you, he is with you. The Bible says, “I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. On that day you will realize that I ...

POTTERS TOUCH DEVOTIONAL. SATURDAY, 16TH DECEMBER 2017. TODAY'S DEVOTION. WRONG PRAISES!

POTTERS TOUCH DEVOTIONAL. SATURDAY, 16TH DECEMBER 2017. TODAY'S DEVOTION. WRONG PRAISES! TODAY'S SCRIPTURE ."The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican." (Luke 18:11 KJV). There are good ways to praise God and also wrong ways of doing it. Indeed high praises open doors before God but the man in the verse above praised God and his door was closed. Why? Because he did it in a wrong way. Never praise God in an attempt to intimidate and condemn others. Do not ever engage in praise and thanksgiving to show you are better than people around you. High praises ought to be with a deep sense of humility to God i.e it is by grace and not by your own effort. When your praises makes people get offended at God as if God is partial it is wrong. This is common with testimonies during thanksgiving, some believers make it look as if others are not serving God enough. ...
