POTTERS TOUCH DEVOTIONAL.

MONDAY, 20TH NOVEMBER 2017.

TODAY'S DEVOTION.OVERFLOW IN GREATNESS PART 2.

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE. The man got richer and richer by the day until he was very wealthy. (Genesis 26:13.MSG)

The Message Bible translation of the above scripture used the phrase "very wealthy"! "Then Isaac sowed seed in that land and received in the same year a hundred times as much as he had planted, and the Lord favored him with blessings. And the man became great and gained more and more until he became very wealthy and distinguished;" (Genesis 26:12, 13 AMP). That means greatness is synonymous with an overflow of wealth. As the seed of Abraham, you can never be small or be a failure in life.

You will be great and gain advantage everywhere you go. You will be very great and distinguished among your peers. For you are the Isaac of this generation."Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise." (Galatians 4:28 KJV). You are a child of promise! You will not fail! You will experience overflowing greatness.

"Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments. Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth forever” (Psalm 112:1, 3); The Bible is very clear about the fact that God’s people are supposed to be very wealthy. Not just rich in spirit. Not just rich in righteousness, love, joy, peace and their fellowship of God. Not just rich in relationships and spiritual rewards. God’s people are meant to be wealthy financially , wealthy and prosperous in every possible way with a lot of money.

Scripture after scripture confirms it: “THE BLESSING of the Lord, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it” (Proverbs 10:22); “Riches and honour are with [the wisdom of God]; yea, durable riches and righteousness” (Proverbs 8:18.
Some people insist these verses can’t possibly apply to everyone. “What about Christians who live in third-world countries?” they ask. “What about those who don’t have the training or opportunities to earn even a minimal income. How are they ever supposed to get rich?” Look  at the first scripture I quoted and you’ll see the answer to those questions: THE BLESSING of the Lord, it maketh rich. That verse doesn’t say a good job maketh rich. It doesn’t say a strong economy maketh rich. It doesn’t say expensive degrees from exclusive universities and a résumé full of worldly credentials maketh rich. The Bible says THE BLESSING does it.

Your greatness is divine! You are created not just to be great but to be "very great"
"And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became VERY GREAT"(Genesis 26:13 KJV). Jesus came to give you greatness and life abundantly,"...I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows). (John 10:10 AMP).

TODAY'S PRAYER
Thank you Lord for the oveflow of greatness in my life. I refuse to settle for less in Jesus Name.Amen

SUNDAY, 17TH  SEPTEMBER 2017. TODAY'S DEVOTION.RAIN OF IDEAS FOR PROSPERITY PART 2. TODAY'S SCRIPTURE. "Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month. And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:" (Joel 2:23, 28 KJV). The Bible records that Abraham became very rich in cattle, silver and gold. But how did he become outstanding and outshine other bussinessmen? Through the rain of divine ideas by the Holy Ghost which came in response to his giving. Abraham dug wells for his cattle instead of them going about. By divine inspiration he knew what to do to get fatter and fresher cattle and sheep. Isaac also got the secret of irrigation by the re...

POTTER'S TOUCH DEVOTIONAL FRIDAY 23RD MARCH,2018. TODAY’S DEVOTION: GOD’S MERCY AT WORK IN YOU.

POTTER'S TOUCH DEVOTIONAL FRIDAY 23RD MARCH,2018. TODAY’S DEVOTION: GOD’S MERCY AT WORK IN YOU. TODAY’S SCRIPTURE. “For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.”  (Philippians 2:13 NLT) No matter what you’re going to face in this life, you’re not going to face it alone. God’s mercy is with you, he is in you, and he is for you. “God’s Mercy is working in you.” The word “working” in Greek is the word energos, from which we get the word “energy.” God’s mercy is the energy driver in your life. You’re not just going on willpower. You’re not just going on your own power. Mercy of God says he will give you the power you need, no matter what you’re facing.  Not only is he in you, he is with you. The Bible says, “I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. On that day you will realize that I ...

POTTERS TOUCH DEVOTIONAL. SATURDAY, 16TH DECEMBER 2017. TODAY'S DEVOTION. WRONG PRAISES!

POTTERS TOUCH DEVOTIONAL. SATURDAY, 16TH DECEMBER 2017. TODAY'S DEVOTION. WRONG PRAISES! TODAY'S SCRIPTURE ."The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican." (Luke 18:11 KJV). There are good ways to praise God and also wrong ways of doing it. Indeed high praises open doors before God but the man in the verse above praised God and his door was closed. Why? Because he did it in a wrong way. Never praise God in an attempt to intimidate and condemn others. Do not ever engage in praise and thanksgiving to show you are better than people around you. High praises ought to be with a deep sense of humility to God i.e it is by grace and not by your own effort. When your praises makes people get offended at God as if God is partial it is wrong. This is common with testimonies during thanksgiving, some believers make it look as if others are not serving God enough. ...
