TODAY’S DEVOTION. OVERFLOW OF IDEAS

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE.“The life-giving Spirit of God will hover over him, the Spirit that brings wisdom and understanding, The Spirit that gives direction and builds strength, the Spirit that instills knowledge and Fear-of-God”. (Isaiah 11:2 MSG)

One of the ways through which you harvest your seeds sown for overflow is through the rain of divine ideas. In Genesis 7:11-12, we understand that when the windows of heaven first opened, what poured down from heaven was rain. What is this rain? What does it symbolise, what does it represent? It is not literal rain, neither is it destructive, it is the rain of refreshing; it is the rain of the Spirit of God. The anointing of the Holy Spirit! It is the rain that produces unimaginable results for overflow.

“Be glad then, ye children of Zion and rejoice in the Lord your God: for He hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month. And the floor shall be full of wheat, and the fats shall overflow with wine and oil. And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you. And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, which hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed”. (Joel 2:26 KJV)

The Spirit of the Lord is the Spirit of wisdom and power which was evidenced in Jesus earthly ministry. In response to your prayer and giving, God pours upon you wisdom and power i.e God’s ability in man that enables him to know what to do at every point in time which is called divine ideas. Every believer who lives in obedience to the laws of prosperity receives a reward wherein God responds principally through the transmission of His divine ability and ideas back to you. He said He will open the windows of heaven and pour out blessings upon you, He will give you divine ideas on how to create or generate wealth.

The windows of heaven are open to connect you with ideas that will cause you to experience an overflow. Henceforth, open up your mind for divine ideas and your access to overflow will be released. Do not play with your God given ideas; it is your password to kingdom wealth. Step out and do something about your Holy Spirit inspired ideas. You will experience abundance and a mighty overflow!

Today's Prayer
Thank you Father for divine ideas that give me access to overflow. Henceforth I will use these ideas for your glory in Jesus Name. Amen

POTTERS TOUCH DEVOTIONAL. SATURDAY, 16TH DECEMBER 2017. TODAY'S DEVOTION. WRONG PRAISES! TODAY'S SCRIPTURE ."The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican." (Luke 18:11 KJV). There are good ways to praise God and also wrong ways of doing it. Indeed high praises open doors before God but the man in the verse above praised God and his door was closed. Why? Because he did it in a wrong way. Never praise God in an attempt to intimidate and condemn others. Do not ever engage in praise and thanksgiving to show you are better than people around you. High praises ought to be with a deep sense of humility to God i.e it is by grace and not by your own effort. When your praises makes people get offended at God as if God is partial it is wrong.
