POTTER'S TOUCH DEVOTIONAL
TUESDAY 10TH APRIL, 2018.
TODAY’S DEVOTION: BLOOD OF RESTORATION. PT 2.
TODAY'S SCRIPTURE: "The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?" (1 Corinthians 10:16 KJV).
Every communion table is a kind of renewing the covenant of restoration. Nothing can be more exciting to know that like a meal I can eat and drink blessing of restoration.
Look at how Jesus put it Himself," Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him." (John 6:53-56 KJV).
So except you keep eating the body and drinking the blood no eternal life and what characterise the eternity of God in life is the restoration power of God. So to eat and to drink of the the body and His blood make the blessing of restoration dwell in you and you in Him.
Communion is not what you do occasionally but as often as possible to keep getting the blessings. "After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come." (1 Corinthians 11:25, 26 KJV). In the cup of the blood is your healing, deliverance, prosperity, favour, and all the restoration that came with the death and resurrection of Jesus. You must celebrate!
TODAY'S RESPONSE.
Make sure you attend your communion service more often and also do a personal or family communion in your family altar.
