TODAY'S DEVOTION. THE GLORY OF LOVE.
TODAY'S SCRIPTURE."Mostly what God does is love you. Keep company with him and learn a life of love.Observe how Christ loved us. His love was not cautious but extravagant.He didn't love in order to get something from us but to give everything of himself to us. Love like that." (Ephesians 5:2 MSG).
As a child of God, you were born with God's nature of love because you are partaker of His divine nature. You have the ability to love the way God does! Most times our old self and the environment we find ourselves seems to corrupt this nature of agape/brotherly love. When the Bible says greater is He that is in you one of such attributes is 'greater love'. You are born to love the world the way God did and gave His only begotten son.
The solution to the worlds economic, political, technological, medical and other problems is the love of God. This love is kept in your spirit. Whatever your area of calling is as a believer, the earnest expectation of the creature is that you will manifest the God given love in you. The world is in dire need of God's love, the hatred and bitterness in their heart can only be removed by the word of God. Families are torn apart because of the devices of the devil. For lack of knowledge men are creating enmity among themselves daily. Acrimony, animosity,antagonism etc are the devices of the devil to stop the love of God from growing on earth.
Every day, our love-nature is tested by difficult people or circumstances that try to make us act contrary to our real nature. Show the love of God in you,there is no fear in love but perfect love casts out fear. When you walk in love, you will only see the best in others because love exhibits the purity of God. Love only sees the good in others, not because love is naive but because love has the power to change evil. Henceforth,win souls,touch a life,influence nations of the world for Jesus through your love to humanity.
The love of God will make the world a better place. Learn to live at peace with all men especially those of the household of faith, for love is the fulfillment of the law. You have all it takes to love like God because you are created in the image and likeness of God. Celebrate your nature of love for your move from glory to glory!
Today's Prayer.
Thank you Father for giving me your nature of love, henceforth I will love the way you do in Jesus name. Amen

POTTERS TOUCH DEVOTIONAL. SATURDAY, 16TH DECEMBER 2017. TODAY'S DEVOTION. WRONG PRAISES! TODAY'S SCRIPTURE ."The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican." (Luke 18:11 KJV). There are good ways to praise God and also wrong ways of doing it. Indeed high praises open doors before God but the man in the verse above praised God and his door was closed. Why? Because he did it in a wrong way. Never praise God in an attempt to intimidate and condemn others. Do not ever engage in praise and thanksgiving to show you are better than people around you. High praises ought to be with a deep sense of humility to God i.e it is by grace and not by your own effort. When your praises makes people get offended at God as if God is partial it is wrong.
