TODAY'S DEVOTION.BORN OF THE SPIRIT!

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE. “The wind blows (breathes) where it wills; and though you hear its sound, yet you neither know where it comes from nor where it is going. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.”‭(John‬ ‭3:8‬ ‭AMPC‬‬)

New birth is the foundation of your supernatural encounter! It is not a gift, it is definite because you are born of the spirit.The opening scripture says,". So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.”‭ New birth makes you a conqueror in all situations of life. Spiritual birth is the certified access to divinity, it makes you a god in human form.“They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course. I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High. But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭82:5-7‬ ‭KJV‬‬.

Many people  wonder how we can be called "gods" but the scripture cannot be broken! God cannot lie, everything gives birth to its kind; a dog will give birth to dog and the same goes for every creature.God is not exempted from this also, all His children are born to be "god" after His kind. At creation God  said everything will bring forth after its kind. “And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.”(Genesis‬ ‭1:11‬ ‭KJV‬‬)

God is a spirit...“God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.”(John‬ ‭4:24‬ ‭KJV‬‬) If God is a Spirit whatever is born of God must be a spirit. You are born of the Spirit, therefore you are spirit and whatever is born of God has overcome the world,sin,sickness,poverty,oppression and the like. Supernatural encounter is your inheritance!

TODAY'S RESPONSE
Stay in command by the Spirit and take charge  of every circumstance of life.

POTTERS TOUCH DEVOTIONAL. SATURDAY, 16TH DECEMBER 2017. TODAY'S DEVOTION. WRONG PRAISES! TODAY'S SCRIPTURE ."The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican." (Luke 18:11 KJV). There are good ways to praise God and also wrong ways of doing it. Indeed high praises open doors before God but the man in the verse above praised God and his door was closed. Why? Because he did it in a wrong way. Never praise God in an attempt to intimidate and condemn others. Do not ever engage in praise and thanksgiving to show you are better than people around you. High praises ought to be with a deep sense of humility to God i.e it is by grace and not by your own effort. When your praises makes people get offended at God as if God is partial it is wrong. This is common with testimonies during thanksgiving, some believers make it look as if others are not serving God enough. ...
