TUESDAY, 29TH AUGUST 2017.

TODAY'S DEVOTION.POSITIVE ATTITUDE IN THE WORKPLACE PART 1.

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE.“Whatever may be your task, work at it heartily (from the soul), as [something done] for the Lord and not for men,”(Colossians‬ ‭3:23‬ ‭AMPC‬‬).

A positive attitude in the workplace can help you whether you own your own business, work as an employee or manage others within a business environment. You will enjoy your work more and achieve your workplace or business related goals easily and faster.

Cynicism and sarcasm are widely prevalent in today’s workplace, both attitudes can bring you and your coworkers down quickly.  While you may not be able to control the mood of the entire workplace, you are always in control of your own attitude each day. You can use these ten tips for developing a positive attitude in the workplace:

1.Gratitude: Appreciate  everyone who does a good job and gets things done on time. In addition, appreciate those who go above and beyond what they are required to do. Appreciation feels good for both the giver and the receiver.

2.Celebrate the Victories: For some reason, many people tend to focus on things they don’t like and whats going wrong. Try instead to focus on things that are going well by taking time often to celebrate the victories at work. Reward yourself or praise another individual for a job well done. If you’re part of a team that does something successfully, arrange a get-together to celebrate it. If you’re a manager, send frequent notes out to your staff outlining things that are going well for the company.

3.Turn Problems Into Opportunities: If problems are encountered, don’t just focus on them. Instead, change your focus by asking yourself or your team, “How can we solve this issue, and what can we learn from it?” Every problem or challenge is an opportunity to learn and grow. Don’t wallow in the issue; focus on the potential to become better.

TODAY'S QUESTION/RESPONSE
Do you really want to enjoy working? Then you need an attitude of gratitude, celebration of victories and turning problems into opportunities.See you at the top.

SUNDAY, 17TH  SEPTEMBER 2017. TODAY'S DEVOTION.RAIN OF IDEAS FOR PROSPERITY PART 2.

SUNDAY, 17TH  SEPTEMBER 2017. TODAY'S DEVOTION.RAIN OF IDEAS FOR PROSPERITY PART 2. TODAY'S SCRIPTURE. "Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month. And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:" (Joel 2:23, 28 KJV). The Bible records that Abraham became very rich in cattle, silver and gold. But how did he become outstanding and outshine other bussinessmen? Through the rain of divine ideas by the Holy Ghost which came in response to his giving. Abraham dug wells for his cattle instead of them going about. By divine inspiration he knew what to do to get fatter and fresher cattle and sheep. Isaac also got the secret of irrigation by the re...

POTTER'S TOUCH DEVOTIONAL FRIDAY 23RD MARCH,2018. TODAY’S DEVOTION: GOD’S MERCY AT WORK IN YOU.

POTTER'S TOUCH DEVOTIONAL FRIDAY 23RD MARCH,2018. TODAY’S DEVOTION: GOD’S MERCY AT WORK IN YOU. TODAY’S SCRIPTURE. “For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.”  (Philippians 2:13 NLT) No matter what you’re going to face in this life, you’re not going to face it alone. God’s mercy is with you, he is in you, and he is for you. “God’s Mercy is working in you.” The word “working” in Greek is the word energos, from which we get the word “energy.” God’s mercy is the energy driver in your life. You’re not just going on willpower. You’re not just going on your own power. Mercy of God says he will give you the power you need, no matter what you’re facing.  Not only is he in you, he is with you. The Bible says, “I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. On that day you will realize that I ...

POTTERS TOUCH DEVOTIONAL. SATURDAY, 16TH DECEMBER 2017. TODAY'S DEVOTION. WRONG PRAISES!

POTTERS TOUCH DEVOTIONAL. SATURDAY, 16TH DECEMBER 2017. TODAY'S DEVOTION. WRONG PRAISES! TODAY'S SCRIPTURE ."The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican." (Luke 18:11 KJV). There are good ways to praise God and also wrong ways of doing it. Indeed high praises open doors before God but the man in the verse above praised God and his door was closed. Why? Because he did it in a wrong way. Never praise God in an attempt to intimidate and condemn others. Do not ever engage in praise and thanksgiving to show you are better than people around you. High praises ought to be with a deep sense of humility to God i.e it is by grace and not by your own effort. When your praises makes people get offended at God as if God is partial it is wrong. This is common with testimonies during thanksgiving, some believers make it look as if others are not serving God enough. ...
