WEDNESDAY, 30TH AUGUST 2017.

TODAY'S DEVOTION.POSITIVE ATTITUDE IN THE WORKPLACE PART 2.

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE.“Whatever may be your task, work at it heartily (from the soul), as [something done] for the Lord and not for men,”‭‭(Colossians‬ ‭3:23‬ ‭AMPC‬‬)

4. Imbibe a Healthy lifestyle and Rest Well. It’s tough to have a positive attitude when you’re feeling run down and tired. Make sure you get enough sleep, eat lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, drink enough water and get regular exercise. This may all sound time consuming, but you will end up having much more energy and focus and be able to get more done in less time. You will also feel much better mentally, which will help you maintain that positive attitude.

5. Smile. Force yourself to smile, even if you don’t feel like it. A smile actually changes how you feel inside and when others see you smiling, they feel better as well.

6. The “No Complaining” Policy. No one likes a complainer. If you’re a manager, tell your team you would not like them to come to you with an issue unless they have a proposed solution to go with it. If you report to someone else, refrain from whining to them. Instead, go to your boss and explain that you have a challenge and would like to offer a solution. This minimizes complaining and turns the focus away from the issue to possible solutions instead, thereby maintaining a constructive work environment.

7.The Win Win Policy. Ensure that each agreement reached in the workplace is a win win. Agreements and negotiations must never favour one party. There is always a way to make agreements positive for both parties involved. Ask “What would be good for you?”Once you have answered that question, do your best to work out a solution that implements as any many of the good ideas for both sides as possible.

TODAY'S PRAYER
May you prosper in the work of your hands for in all LABOUR there is profit. There shall be no more loss of any kind in your quest for divine settlement in Jesus name. Amen.

21ST MARCH,2018. TODAYS DEVOTION.MERCY IN CONFLICTS.

21ST MARCH,2018. TODAYS DEVOTION.MERCY IN CONFLICTS. TODAY’S SCRIPTURE."I beg you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ to stop arguing among yourselves. Let there be real harmony so that there won’t be splits in the church. I plead with you to be of one mind, united in thought and purpose." (1 Corinthians 1:10 LB) Stop trying to win arguments. Instead, make it your goal to love those who disagree with you. Go for the love, not the win. Jesus tells us love will always win; he guaranteed that when he walked out of the tomb. When you find yourself in an argument with other believers, use these biblical guidelines for getting along: Let mercy guide your response (Proverbs 3:3–6). In a conflict, most of us say we only want what’s fair, but God’s approach isn’t about being fair. It’s about grace and mercy (Romans 5:8). Let God’s Mercy determine the truth (2 Corinthians 13:8). The truth is not determined by your thoughts or feelings (1 John ...

POTTERS TOUCH DEVOTIONAL. TUESDAY, 14TH NOVEMBER 2017. TODAY’S DEVOTION. OVERFLOW OF IDEAS

POTTERS TOUCH DEVOTIONAL. TUESDAY, 14TH NOVEMBER 2017. TODAY’S DEVOTION. OVERFLOW OF IDEAS TODAY'S SCRIPTURE.“The life-giving Spirit of God will hover over him, the Spirit that brings wisdom and understanding, The Spirit that gives direction and builds strength, the Spirit that instills knowledge and Fear-of-God”. (Isaiah 11:2 MSG) One of the ways through which you harvest your seeds sown for overflow is through the rain of divine ideas. In Genesis 7:11-12, we understand that when the windows of heaven first opened, what poured down from heaven was rain. What is this rain? What does it symbolise, what does it represent? It is not literal rain, neither is it destructive, it is the rain of refreshing; it is the rain of the Spirit of God. The anointing of the Holy Spirit! It is the rain that produces unimaginable results for overflow. “Be glad then, ye children of Zion and rejoice in the Lord your God: for He hath given you the former rain moderately, and he wi...

SUNDAY, 17TH  SEPTEMBER 2017. TODAY'S DEVOTION.RAIN OF IDEAS FOR PROSPERITY PART 2. TODAY'S SCRIPTURE. "Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month. And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:" (Joel 2:23, 28 KJV). The Bible records that Abraham became very rich in cattle, silver and gold. But how did he become outstanding and outshine other bussinessmen? Through the rain of divine ideas by the Holy Ghost which came in response to his giving. Abraham dug wells for his cattle instead of them going about. By divine inspiration he knew what to do to get fatter and fresher cattle and sheep. Isaac also got the secret of irrigation by the re...
