WEDNESDAY, 9TH AUGUST 2017. TODAY'S DEVOTION. SUBMISSIVE  ATTITUDE.

WEDNESDAY, 9TH AUGUST 2017.

TODAY'S DEVOTION. SUBMISSIVE  ATTITUDE.

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE.“For he adds rebellion [in his unsubmissive, defiant attitude toward God] to his unacknowledged sin; he claps his hands [in open mockery and contempt of God] among us, and he multiplies his words of accusation against God.”(‭‭Job‬ ‭34:37‬ ‭AMPC‬‬).

Success in life and destiny is about submission! Until you submit you cannot succeed. You must be submisive to God and those above you if you must win in the race of life. Submission is the act of being ready to conform to the authority or will of others in a meek and obedient manner. The Bible says submit yourself to God, then resist the devil and he will flee(James 4:7).

No matter how you big you become in life, you will always have people ahead of you! Whether at home or in your neighborhood. God fashioned the earth to operate that way. No man is an island. We are all synchronized to be under a specific authority. The centurion in the Bible received a miracle from Jesus based on this fact. He said “For I also am a man subject to authority, with soldiers subject to me. And I say to one, Go, and he goes; and to another, Come, and he comes; and to my slave, Do this, and he does it.”(‭‭Matthew‬ ‭8:9‬ ‭AMPC‬).

A submissive attitude entails being under authority where you can take orders and obey without any complain. Do you have people in your life who can tell you to sit down and without any questions or hard feelings you can obey them?

Are you under any authority of people you cannot say no to? Or you are your own boss at home and abroad? Do you compete with your boss or your husband at home? As a man do you listen to your mentors instructions ? Do you have anyone who acts as a father figure in your life? You need a submissive attitude for your altitude.

TODAY'S DISCUSSION.
What is responsible for people displaying an "unsubmissive attitude ' ?‬

SUNDAY, 17TH  SEPTEMBER 2017. TODAY'S DEVOTION.RAIN OF IDEAS FOR PROSPERITY PART 2.

SUNDAY, 17TH  SEPTEMBER 2017. TODAY'S DEVOTION.RAIN OF IDEAS FOR PROSPERITY PART 2. TODAY'S SCRIPTURE. "Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month. And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:" (Joel 2:23, 28 KJV). The Bible records that Abraham became very rich in cattle, silver and gold. But how did he become outstanding and outshine other bussinessmen? Through the rain of divine ideas by the Holy Ghost which came in response to his giving. Abraham dug wells for his cattle instead of them going about. By divine inspiration he knew what to do to get fatter and fresher cattle and sheep. Isaac also got the secret of irrigation by the re...

POTTER'S TOUCH DEVOTIONAL FRIDAY 23RD MARCH,2018. TODAY’S DEVOTION: GOD’S MERCY AT WORK IN YOU.

POTTER'S TOUCH DEVOTIONAL FRIDAY 23RD MARCH,2018. TODAY’S DEVOTION: GOD’S MERCY AT WORK IN YOU. TODAY’S SCRIPTURE. “For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.”  (Philippians 2:13 NLT) No matter what you’re going to face in this life, you’re not going to face it alone. God’s mercy is with you, he is in you, and he is for you. “God’s Mercy is working in you.” The word “working” in Greek is the word energos, from which we get the word “energy.” God’s mercy is the energy driver in your life. You’re not just going on willpower. You’re not just going on your own power. Mercy of God says he will give you the power you need, no matter what you’re facing.  Not only is he in you, he is with you. The Bible says, “I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. On that day you will realize that I ...

POTTERS TOUCH DEVOTIONAL. SATURDAY, 16TH DECEMBER 2017. TODAY'S DEVOTION. WRONG PRAISES!

POTTERS TOUCH DEVOTIONAL. SATURDAY, 16TH DECEMBER 2017. TODAY'S DEVOTION. WRONG PRAISES! TODAY'S SCRIPTURE ."The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican." (Luke 18:11 KJV). There are good ways to praise God and also wrong ways of doing it. Indeed high praises open doors before God but the man in the verse above praised God and his door was closed. Why? Because he did it in a wrong way. Never praise God in an attempt to intimidate and condemn others. Do not ever engage in praise and thanksgiving to show you are better than people around you. High praises ought to be with a deep sense of humility to God i.e it is by grace and not by your own effort. When your praises makes people get offended at God as if God is partial it is wrong. This is common with testimonies during thanksgiving, some believers make it look as if others are not serving God enough. ...
