TODAY'S DEVOTION. PROSPERITY BY RIGHT  ATTITUDE AT WORK!

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE. “Servants, respectfully obey your earthly masters but always with an eye to obeying the real master, Christ. Don’t just do what you have to do to get by, but work heartily, as Christ’s servants doing what God wants you to do. And work with a smile on your face, always keeping in mind that no matter who happens to be giving the orders, you’re really serving God. Good work will get you good pay from the Master, regardless of whether you are slave or free.” (Ephesians‬ ‭6:5-8‬ ‭MSG‬‬)

Your financial prosperity depends on your actions at work because anything you do while you are employed is rewarded by God. Today's devotion is dedicated to you if you grumble while you do your job, it’s for the man and woman who does just enough and doesn’t go the extra mile and it’s for the believer whose presence or absence in the work place is not felt.

Jacob served Laban for twenty years and Laban gave this testimony about him ‘’I have learned by experience that the Lord had blessed me for thy sake’’. Jacob had an innate presence because he was the seed of Abraham, but he also exhibited diligence and skill in his job.

Genesis 31:38-40; ‘’this twenty years have I been with thee, thy ewes and thy she goats have not cast their young, and the rams of thy flock have I not eaten. That which was torn of beasts I brought unto thee; I bore the loss of it; of my hands didst thou require it, whether stolen by day or stolen by night. Thus I was: in the day the drought consumed me and the frost by night; and my sleep departed mine eyes.’’
No wonder Laban asked him to please stay and  ask for anything when he tendered his resignation.

In order to be blessed financially, you have to be diligent and skilled in what you do.  Do you see a man diligent and skillful in his business? He will stand before kings and not before obscure men.

TODAY'S QUESTION.
What attitudes can bring blessings at work?

SUNDAY, 17TH  SEPTEMBER 2017. TODAY'S DEVOTION.RAIN OF IDEAS FOR PROSPERITY PART 2.

SUNDAY, 17TH  SEPTEMBER 2017. TODAY'S DEVOTION.RAIN OF IDEAS FOR PROSPERITY PART 2. TODAY'S SCRIPTURE. "Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month. And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:" (Joel 2:23, 28 KJV). The Bible records that Abraham became very rich in cattle, silver and gold. But how did he become outstanding and outshine other bussinessmen? Through the rain of divine ideas by the Holy Ghost which came in response to his giving. Abraham dug wells for his cattle instead of them going about. By divine inspiration he knew what to do to get fatter and fresher cattle and sheep. Isaac also got the secret of irrigation by the re...

POTTER'S TOUCH DEVOTIONAL FRIDAY 23RD MARCH,2018. TODAY’S DEVOTION: GOD’S MERCY AT WORK IN YOU.

POTTER'S TOUCH DEVOTIONAL FRIDAY 23RD MARCH,2018. TODAY’S DEVOTION: GOD’S MERCY AT WORK IN YOU. TODAY’S SCRIPTURE. “For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.”  (Philippians 2:13 NLT) No matter what you’re going to face in this life, you’re not going to face it alone. God’s mercy is with you, he is in you, and he is for you. “God’s Mercy is working in you.” The word “working” in Greek is the word energos, from which we get the word “energy.” God’s mercy is the energy driver in your life. You’re not just going on willpower. You’re not just going on your own power. Mercy of God says he will give you the power you need, no matter what you’re facing.  Not only is he in you, he is with you. The Bible says, “I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. On that day you will realize that I ...

POTTERS TOUCH DEVOTIONAL. SATURDAY, 16TH DECEMBER 2017. TODAY'S DEVOTION. WRONG PRAISES!

POTTERS TOUCH DEVOTIONAL. SATURDAY, 16TH DECEMBER 2017. TODAY'S DEVOTION. WRONG PRAISES! TODAY'S SCRIPTURE ."The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican." (Luke 18:11 KJV). There are good ways to praise God and also wrong ways of doing it. Indeed high praises open doors before God but the man in the verse above praised God and his door was closed. Why? Because he did it in a wrong way. Never praise God in an attempt to intimidate and condemn others. Do not ever engage in praise and thanksgiving to show you are better than people around you. High praises ought to be with a deep sense of humility to God i.e it is by grace and not by your own effort. When your praises makes people get offended at God as if God is partial it is wrong. This is common with testimonies during thanksgiving, some believers make it look as if others are not serving God enough. ...
