TODAYS DEVOTION. OVERFLOW STOPPERS.

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE "The more they increased and multiplied [in prosperity and power], the more they sinned against Me; I will change their glory into shame”. (Hosea 4:7 AMP)

The grace for overflowing kingdom wealth will always decrease when sin or iniquity abounds. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and proper prosperity in Christ. God cannot stand evil! The way godliness will make prosperity increase is the way sin will bring it down. In the scripture above, the multiplication of Israel in prosperity and power brought about the increase of their sins. Therefore God said “I will change their glory into shame,”that means I will stop their overflow.

There is a glory that goes with prosperity and shame follows poverty. Every act of disobedience to the word of God will bring poverty eventually. Maintaining the overflow of heavenly provision on anything requires holiness."Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord”. (Hebrews 12:14 KJV)

In order to see the God of prosperity and overflow in action, you must be holy and live as God has commanded in His word. The glory of God in a man’s life is the manifestation of kingdom prosperity and where sin abounds the glory will be cut short."All have sinned and fall short of God’s glory,” (Romans 3:23 CEB)
The more you dwell in sin, the more the shame of poverty increases. Sin causes a reduction of redemption provision! No wonder the Bible says, “WHAT SHALL we say [to all this]? Are we to remain in sin in order that God’s grace (favor and mercy) may multiply and overflow”? (Romans 6:1 AMP)

Christianity is a progressive life into godliness. Even though you are not perfect, heaven expects you to work towards perfection. In other to experience the grace of multiplication and overflow, you must grow into responsibility and maturity. You cannot just do anything you desire."A person without self-control is like a house with its door and windows knocked out”. (Proverbs 25:28 MSG).
This means without self control you are vulnerable and susceptible to the attack of the enemy. However, when you are self controlled and refuse to allow sin have dominion over you, your overflow becomes unstoppable.

Develop godliness in every area of your life and exercise yourself in holiness!“Give unto the Lord the glory due unto His name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness”. (Psalm 29:2 KJV).Uncleanliness stops your overflow. The Christian who is holy is protected and gives no room to the devil. He does not do just anything because he feels like. He has God’s word as his defence and standard. His spirit has gained mastery over his mind and body.

TODAY'S RESPONSE.
Take control of your life today and do only those things that bring glory to the Name of Jesus and your overflow will be unstoppable.

SUNDAY, 17TH  SEPTEMBER 2017. TODAY'S DEVOTION.RAIN OF IDEAS FOR PROSPERITY PART 2. TODAY'S SCRIPTURE. "Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month. And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:" (Joel 2:23, 28 KJV). The Bible records that Abraham became very rich in cattle, silver and gold. But how did he become outstanding and outshine other bussinessmen? Through the rain of divine ideas by the Holy Ghost which came in response to his giving. Abraham dug wells for his cattle instead of them going about. By divine inspiration he knew what to do to get fatter and fresher cattle and sheep. Isaac also got the secret of irrigation by the re...

POTTER'S TOUCH DEVOTIONAL FRIDAY 23RD MARCH,2018. TODAY’S DEVOTION: GOD’S MERCY AT WORK IN YOU.

POTTER'S TOUCH DEVOTIONAL FRIDAY 23RD MARCH,2018. TODAY’S DEVOTION: GOD’S MERCY AT WORK IN YOU. TODAY’S SCRIPTURE. “For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.”  (Philippians 2:13 NLT) No matter what you’re going to face in this life, you’re not going to face it alone. God’s mercy is with you, he is in you, and he is for you. “God’s Mercy is working in you.” The word “working” in Greek is the word energos, from which we get the word “energy.” God’s mercy is the energy driver in your life. You’re not just going on willpower. You’re not just going on your own power. Mercy of God says he will give you the power you need, no matter what you’re facing.  Not only is he in you, he is with you. The Bible says, “I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. On that day you will realize that I ...

POTTERS TOUCH DEVOTIONAL. SATURDAY, 16TH DECEMBER 2017. TODAY'S DEVOTION. WRONG PRAISES!

POTTERS TOUCH DEVOTIONAL. SATURDAY, 16TH DECEMBER 2017. TODAY'S DEVOTION. WRONG PRAISES! TODAY'S SCRIPTURE ."The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican." (Luke 18:11 KJV). There are good ways to praise God and also wrong ways of doing it. Indeed high praises open doors before God but the man in the verse above praised God and his door was closed. Why? Because he did it in a wrong way. Never praise God in an attempt to intimidate and condemn others. Do not ever engage in praise and thanksgiving to show you are better than people around you. High praises ought to be with a deep sense of humility to God i.e it is by grace and not by your own effort. When your praises makes people get offended at God as if God is partial it is wrong. This is common with testimonies during thanksgiving, some believers make it look as if others are not serving God enough. ...
