TODAY'S DEVOTION.DIVINE EMPOWERMENT BY PURITY.

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE.“Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.(‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5:8‬ ‭KJV‬‬)

Welcome to the second month of your year of divine empowerment! God’s power will keep increasing in your life in Jesus name. After all the studies and experience of waiting on God in fasting and prayer in January, God wants you to consolidate this journey of empowerment with purity and holiness. God is a God of holiness. Our calling is to be like Christ Jesus, hence we are called Christians (Christ like)

Over the years I have said repeatedly that “ it is not wrong to be wrong but it’s absolutely wrong to continue being wrong”. God will never ask you to do what He has not given you the ability to do. In the above scripture, Jesus said you will be empowered with blessings if you are pure in heart and that is the secret to see God and experience His power.

Do you desire God to show Himself powerful in your life this year, then get ready to be cleansed inside out. God’s power will not manifest in impurity. God cannot dwell in filth. The scripture says His eyes cannot behold iniquity.Purity begins from the heart which comprises your spirit and soul! To be pure in life, you must fight unclean thoughts.

Matthew 6:2 says, "where your treasure is, there will your heart be also." In Matthew 12:34-35 Jesus says "O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. A good man, out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things, and an evil man, out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things." This proves that the heart is the center of our being.

Jesus says that those who are blessed, those who enjoy the power of God, who have the most fortunate state of existence are those who are PURE in heart. Being pure entails guarding  your heart with all diligence. How can we be pure in heart? Watch out for yomorrow's  devotion.

TODAY'S CONFESSION
Father I make a covenant with you today to start the journey of purity and holiness from my heart in Jesus Name.

SUNDAY, 17TH  SEPTEMBER 2017. TODAY'S DEVOTION.RAIN OF IDEAS FOR PROSPERITY PART 2. TODAY'S SCRIPTURE. "Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month. And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:" (Joel 2:23, 28 KJV). The Bible records that Abraham became very rich in cattle, silver and gold. But how did he become outstanding and outshine other bussinessmen? Through the rain of divine ideas by the Holy Ghost which came in response to his giving. Abraham dug wells for his cattle instead of them going about. By divine inspiration he knew what to do to get fatter and fresher cattle and sheep. Isaac also got the secret of irrigation by the re...

POTTER'S TOUCH DEVOTIONAL FRIDAY 23RD MARCH,2018. TODAY’S DEVOTION: GOD’S MERCY AT WORK IN YOU.

POTTER'S TOUCH DEVOTIONAL FRIDAY 23RD MARCH,2018. TODAY’S DEVOTION: GOD’S MERCY AT WORK IN YOU. TODAY’S SCRIPTURE. “For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.”  (Philippians 2:13 NLT) No matter what you’re going to face in this life, you’re not going to face it alone. God’s mercy is with you, he is in you, and he is for you. “God’s Mercy is working in you.” The word “working” in Greek is the word energos, from which we get the word “energy.” God’s mercy is the energy driver in your life. You’re not just going on willpower. You’re not just going on your own power. Mercy of God says he will give you the power you need, no matter what you’re facing.  Not only is he in you, he is with you. The Bible says, “I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. On that day you will realize that I ...

POTTERS TOUCH DEVOTIONAL. SATURDAY, 16TH DECEMBER 2017. TODAY'S DEVOTION. WRONG PRAISES!

POTTERS TOUCH DEVOTIONAL. SATURDAY, 16TH DECEMBER 2017. TODAY'S DEVOTION. WRONG PRAISES! TODAY'S SCRIPTURE ."The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican." (Luke 18:11 KJV). There are good ways to praise God and also wrong ways of doing it. Indeed high praises open doors before God but the man in the verse above praised God and his door was closed. Why? Because he did it in a wrong way. Never praise God in an attempt to intimidate and condemn others. Do not ever engage in praise and thanksgiving to show you are better than people around you. High praises ought to be with a deep sense of humility to God i.e it is by grace and not by your own effort. When your praises makes people get offended at God as if God is partial it is wrong. This is common with testimonies during thanksgiving, some believers make it look as if others are not serving God enough. ...
