SUNDAY, 9TH JULY 2017. TODAY’S DEVOTION. SUPERNATURAL GROWTH.

SUNDAY, 9TH JULY 2017.

TODAY’S DEVOTION. SUPERNATURAL GROWTH.

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE. "And the Child grew and became strong  in spirit,  filled with wisdom; and the grace (favor and spiritual blessing) of God was upon Him." (Luke 2:40 AMP)

Growth in the kingdom of God is not optional, but mandatory! It is either you grow or you will groan in misery. Stop looking for shortcuts to the supernatural. God by HIs Spirit expects you to settle down and grow into what He has prepared for you. Many of us cut corners, do things in the flesh and end up badly. You must understand that steady supernatural growth will surely take you to the place of your miracle. There is no shortcut to miraculous living in the supernatural realm.

If you desire the miraculous, you need supernatural growth in your life. Your development in God determines if God can entrust you with signs and wonders or not. The Lord Jesus came to this earth with the fullness of the Godhead. However, because He was a child He could not manifest eternal virtue until He grew. The opening scripture says Jesus began as a child, but He did not stop there. He developed physically, spiritually and mentally, He grew in these three dimensions of human existence.

You must begin your Christian walk as child but you must not remain a child forever. You are expected to grow into adulthood in the things of God, until then there are eternal feats you are not permitted to handle. Good fathers do not give car keys to their eight year old children for a ride. Even though the vehicle is the childs heritage, as long as he is underage he is not permitted to drive. But when the same child clocks eighteen, he becomes a co-owner of the same car.

TODAY'S PRAYER.
Father in the name of Jesus, I am ready to grow in every area of my supernatural life like Jesus. Amen

SUNDAY, 17TH  SEPTEMBER 2017. TODAY'S DEVOTION.RAIN OF IDEAS FOR PROSPERITY PART 2.

SUNDAY, 17TH  SEPTEMBER 2017. TODAY'S DEVOTION.RAIN OF IDEAS FOR PROSPERITY PART 2. TODAY'S SCRIPTURE. "Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month. And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:" (Joel 2:23, 28 KJV). The Bible records that Abraham became very rich in cattle, silver and gold. But how did he become outstanding and outshine other bussinessmen? Through the rain of divine ideas by the Holy Ghost which came in response to his giving. Abraham dug wells for his cattle instead of them going about. By divine inspiration he knew what to do to get fatter and fresher cattle and sheep. Isaac also got the secret of irrigation by the re...

POTTER'S TOUCH DEVOTIONAL FRIDAY 23RD MARCH,2018. TODAY’S DEVOTION: GOD’S MERCY AT WORK IN YOU.

POTTER'S TOUCH DEVOTIONAL FRIDAY 23RD MARCH,2018. TODAY’S DEVOTION: GOD’S MERCY AT WORK IN YOU. TODAY’S SCRIPTURE. “For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.”  (Philippians 2:13 NLT) No matter what you’re going to face in this life, you’re not going to face it alone. God’s mercy is with you, he is in you, and he is for you. “God’s Mercy is working in you.” The word “working” in Greek is the word energos, from which we get the word “energy.” God’s mercy is the energy driver in your life. You’re not just going on willpower. You’re not just going on your own power. Mercy of God says he will give you the power you need, no matter what you’re facing.  Not only is he in you, he is with you. The Bible says, “I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. On that day you will realize that I ...

POTTERS TOUCH DEVOTIONAL. SATURDAY, 16TH DECEMBER 2017. TODAY'S DEVOTION. WRONG PRAISES!

POTTERS TOUCH DEVOTIONAL. SATURDAY, 16TH DECEMBER 2017. TODAY'S DEVOTION. WRONG PRAISES! TODAY'S SCRIPTURE ."The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican." (Luke 18:11 KJV). There are good ways to praise God and also wrong ways of doing it. Indeed high praises open doors before God but the man in the verse above praised God and his door was closed. Why? Because he did it in a wrong way. Never praise God in an attempt to intimidate and condemn others. Do not ever engage in praise and thanksgiving to show you are better than people around you. High praises ought to be with a deep sense of humility to God i.e it is by grace and not by your own effort. When your praises makes people get offended at God as if God is partial it is wrong. This is common with testimonies during thanksgiving, some believers make it look as if others are not serving God enough. ...
