POTTERS TOUCH DEVOTIONAL

FRIDAY, 10TH NOVEMBER  2017.

TODAY'S DEVOTION.YOUR SEED BRINGS OVERFLOW.

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE. “Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness”. (2Corinthians 9:10 KJV)

When you become a prosperous giver to God, He becomes a God of overflow to you in everything. Every time you give to God, He multiplies your seed and releases an abundant harvest of overflow to you. This is the nature of our heavenly father, He is a multiplier. He never gives you back exactly what you gave to HIm. He multiplies it and ensures that your storehouse is filled with an overflow of abundance.

“Honour the Lord with your capital and sufficiency [from righteous labours] and with the first-fruits of all your income; So shall your storage places be filled with plenty, and your vats shall be overflowing with new wine”. (Proverbs 3:9,10 AMP) Jesus demonstrated this when He fed five thousand men (women and children not counted) with five loaves of bread and two fish.

“Then He ordered the crowds to recline on the grass; and He took the five loaves and the two, and, looking up to heaven, He gave thanks and blessed and broke the loaves and handed the pieces to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the people. And they all ate and were satisfied. And they picked up twelve [small hand] baskets full of the broken pieces left over. And those who ate were about 5,000 men, not including women and children” (Matthew 14:19-21 AMP)

Naturally, five loaves of bread no matter how big and two fish no matter how big are grossly inadequate to feed five thousand men. But the Bible says, Jesus took the five loaves and two fishes in His hands and blessed them. When He did this, the anointing came on the bread and the fish and He asked the disciples to feed the multitude. He will do the same thing for you when you sow your seed as commanded of the Lord. When your seed enters the hand of Jesus He will bless and multiply it and give it back to you in overflow.

In that scripture the Bible says after they had eaten, twelve baskets full of bread and fish were gathered as leftovers. “And they took up twelve baskets full of the fragments, and of the fishes. And they that did eat of the loaves were about five thousand men”. (Mark 6:43,44 KJV)It is reasonable to assume that the leftover twelve baskets went to the little boy, who volunteered his lunch with which the Master fed the multitude. He received more than enough because he gave the Lord what he had and the Lord multiplied it.

TODAY'S RESPONSE
Keeping sowing your seed(s) and giving to God’s work and He will ensure that you are plugged to an unending supply of overflow. He will multiply the seeds you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness.

POTTER'S TOUCH DEVOTIONAL TUESDAY 10TH APRIL, 2018. TODAY’S DEVOTION: BLOOD OF RESTORATION. PT 2.

POTTER'S TOUCH DEVOTIONAL TUESDAY 10TH APRIL, 2018. TODAY’S DEVOTION: BLOOD OF RESTORATION. PT 2. TODAY'S SCRIPTURE: "The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?" (1 Corinthians 10:16 KJV). Every communion table is a kind of renewing the covenant of restoration. Nothing can be more exciting to know that like a meal I can eat and drink blessing of restoration. Look at how Jesus put it Himself," Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him." (John 6:53-56 KJV).  So except you keep eating the body and drink...

POTTERS TOUCH DEVOTIONAL. SATURDAY, 21ST OCTOBER 2017. TODAY'S DEVOTION.TO LIVE A QUALITY LIFE, STOP WORRYING PART 2. TODAY'S SCRIPTURE. "Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.” (1 Peter 5:7 NLT, second edition) We established in yesterday's devotion that it takes more than willpower to stop worrying and that it takes four things to stop worrying. Firstly , get to know God first and secondly put God first in every area of your life.We will be looking at the other two today. 3.Live one day at a time. The Bible says, “So don’t worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will have its own worries. Each day has enough trouble of its own” (Matthew 6:34 NCV). If you’re worrying about tomorrow, you can’t enjoy today. You will miss today’s blessings. It’s okay to plan for tomorrow, but you have to live for today. When you’re always worried about tomorrow, the future gets overwhelming. But God will give you the grace...

MONDAY, 11TH SEPTEMBER 2017. TODAY'S DEVOTION.CRITICISM AND PROSPERITY.

MONDAY, 11TH SEPTEMBER 2017. TODAY'S DEVOTION.CRITICISM AND PROSPERITY. TODAY'S SCRIPTURE."Start with God. The first step in learning is bowing down to God; only fools thumb their noses at such wisdom and learning” (Proverbs 1:7 MSG). Have you noticed that once you establish a goal in your life, you start hearing people say, “Who do you think you are, you think you have money?” or “It can’t be done just like that, how can one just prosper in these hard times?” or “Forget about it, they are all thieves! Etc The antidote to the voices of doubt is listening to the voice of God. Just imagine all the critics that were in Noah’s life. “That guy Noah thinks God speaks to him, but he’s just messing up the master plan of our city by building that ark in his front yard.” The Bible tells us that Noah listened to God. What did he hear? He heard God’s warning that the world was going to be destroyed. He belie...
