TODAY'S DEVOTION. HIGH PRAISES  RELEASE FIRE!

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE."Ye shall have a song, as in the night when a holy solemnity is kept; and gladness of heart, as when one goeth with a pipe to come into the mountain of the Lord, to the mighty One of Israel. And the Lord shall cause his glorious voice to be heard, and shall shew the lighting down of his arm, with the indignation of his anger, and with the flame of a devouring fire, with scattering, and tempest, and hailstones. (Isaiah 30:29-30 KJV).

Our God is a consuming fire! Fire is a potent weapon for all believers in spiritual warfare. The God kind of fire is the one that evil cannot resist or withstand. This consuming fire is able to melt mountains, destroy obstacles, remove walls of Jericho and burn to ashes the barriers on your way to success! Nothing in life can survive the consuming fire of God. But then many believers do not know how to activate this fire and make it a reality.

It is popularly referred to as 'Holy Ghost fire'. However it does not come by shouting Holy Ghost Fire or Fire! Fire! I have observed that many Christians think what brings the fire is shouting for it. More so, many even think you pray it down from heaven and you will hear things like 'by fire and thunder" and so on. The new testament consuming fire does not come like that, as you praise God in spirit and truth you provoke the release of His unquenchable fire.

The opening scripture says when you have a song in the night and gladness of heart then God will answer you with a flame of devouring fire. "THE LORD reigns, let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles and coastlands be glad! Fire goes before Him and burns up His adversaries round about." (Psalm 97:1, 3 AMP).

Hallelujah! Yes the Lord reigns when you praise Him. Praise en-thrones God in any situation you may be going through. When you rejoice in the Lord by praising Him,you invite the presence of God because God inhabits the praises of His people. Anywhere God's presence appears the Holy Ghost fire appears before Him. Therefore, fire is a product of praises. Praising God will bring the Holy Ghost fire. Instead of shouting "fire" starting shouting praises in song, dance,clapping and so on to God and the fire will fall.

Expect this fire every time you praise the Lord, because your God is a consuming fire. Praise Him and He will cloth you with a cloud of fire. Whatever makes themselves your adversary will be burnt round about. Henceforth, as you praise Him, you will not be found wherever evil is mentioned but only in places where pleasure is found,heavenly pleasure, all-round comfort and rest!

TODAY'S PRAYER
Thank you Father because you are a consuming fire. As I praise you, let all my adversaries be burnt in Jesus Name. Praise the Lord!

SUNDAY, 19TH NOVEMBER 2017. TODAY'S DEVOTION.OVERFLOW IN GREATNESS. TODAY'S SCRIPTURE. The man got richer and richer by the day until he was very wealthy. (Genesis 26:13.MSG) The Message Bible translation of our opening scripture uses the phrase "very wealthy"! That means greatness is synonymous with overflowing wealth. As the seed of Abraham, you can never be small or be a failure in life. Poverty and sickness are not supposed to be a part of your life. Isaac experienced an overflow of greatness and walked in super abundant overflow.  He experienced blessings in a period of severe famine  because he was Abraham's seed."Then Isaac sowed seed in that land and received in the same year a hundred times as much as he had planted, and the Lord favored him with blessings.
