POTTERS TOUCH DEVOTIONAL. DAY 9 OF OUR 21 DAYS FASTING PROGRAM TUESDAY, 16TH JANUARY 2018. TODAY’S DEVOTION. DIVINE EMPOWERMENT FOR ALL ROUND REST. TODAY’S SCRIPTURE. “But now the Lord my God hath given me rest on every side, so that there is neither adversary nor evil occurrent.” (‭‭1 Kings‬ ‭5:4‬ ‭KJV‬‬) Safety is not the absence of danger but the presence of God. Rest is also not the absence of things that threaten your peace.The presence of the Lord makes us spiritual magnets to attract the good and repel the evil of the land. The man whose life pleases God, He makes his enemies to favour his cause. Therefore, one of the scriptural demands to dwell in safety and have roundabout rest is to be fully devoted to God. All round rest infers that God's hand is upon us for good in every area of our lives; MARRIAGE, WORK, BUSINESS, VOCATION, RELATIONSHIP etc. TODAY’S PRAYERS 1.Thank you Father for your ear that is open to our intercessions and supplications. O Lord,grant us the desires of our hearts this year in the name of Jesus (Psalm 65:2). 2.Father, let there be waves of strange healings, deliverances, preservation of life etc, among us in 2018 (Job 33:21-25; 10:12). 3.Father in the name of Jesus, give all round rest by your power .Let there be no destruction whatsoever for us in 2018 (1 Kings.5:4). 4.Father baptise with confusion every power(s) assigned to waste our lives in 2018. 5. Every form of unholy alliance to frustrate my peace in 2018, scatter and be destroyed in the name of Jesus (Isaiah 8:9–10).

3.Father in the name of Jesus, give all round rest by your power .Let there be no destruction whatsoever for us in 2018 (1 Kings.5:4).

4.Father baptise with confusion every power(s) assigned to waste our lives in 2018.

5. Every form of unholy alliance to frustrate my peace in 2018, scatter and be destroyed in the name of Jesus (Isaiah 8:9–10)..

POTTERS TOUCH DEVOTIONAL. SATURDAY, 16TH DECEMBER 2017. TODAY'S DEVOTION. WRONG PRAISES! TODAY'S SCRIPTURE ."The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican." (Luke 18:11 KJV). There are good ways to praise God and also wrong ways of doing it. Indeed high praises open doors before God but the man in the verse above praised God and his door was closed. Why? Because he did it in a wrong way. Never praise God in an attempt to intimidate and condemn others. Do not ever engage in praise and thanksgiving to show you are better than people around you. High praises ought to be with a deep sense of humility to God i.e it is by grace and not by your own effort. When your praises makes people get offended at God as if God is partial it is wrong. This is common with testimonies during thanksgiving, some believers make it look as if others are not serving God enough. ...
